Pros

Central office location. Fairly flexible working arrangements. Good comradery within the team.

Cons

Upper management isn't up to the task. They're not supportive and give no sense of direction. The company has a habit of hiring juniors for development, design, and testing roles, but gives no support for further learning and shifts blame towards them when things go wrong. The CEO has openly said that he has no desire to have an HR department as they "slow everything down". Those struggling with mental health or work-related stress are either not listened to or let go. As mentioned by others, the CEO and CTO are more interested in making themselves look good on LinkedIn than they are about actually growing a healthy, functional company.

Pros

Flashy marketing, merch and designs

Cons

The culture, benefits, and success stories they market are hollow and don't reflect reality. Multiple red flags demonstrate this. Over the past year, several staff in leadership and senior positions have left due to burnout or company politics—including promising new hires who departed after incredibly short stints. These seemed like exactly the people who could have made a positive difference. More recently, redundancies have been made as the company struggles financially, despite having strong cash reserves in previous years. Promotion opportunities are promised on paper but then delayed or denied with various excuses. For prospective clients: be cautious—their technological capabilities and IT security practices aren't nearly as mature as they claim. Values around performance and fast-paced work are code for burnout culture. Hybrid working is marketed as flexible but really means dictating certain office days. Expect long hours, skipped lunch breaks, and lunchtime meetings. Flashy merchandise and a "fully stocked fridge" don't constitute benefits or meaningful culture. They won't even provide proper lunch facilities—apparently a microwave would make the office "too smelly when clients visit." Leadership is inflexible and doesn't welcome challenge. They have no understanding of structural inclusion or how to drive innovation through diverse perspectives. It's pushing out anyone different and leaving behind those who've either drunk the company Kool-Aid (see all those 5-star reviews) or are too intimidated to speak up. Since leaving, I've been contacted by several current and former employees sharing nothing but heartbreaking stories echoing all of the above. I'm writing this to offer a different perspective to contrast all the positive reviews —if you're considering joining, think twice. This place isn't worth sacrificing your mental health.

Pros

Strong development teams and central location

Cons

Lack of trust and transparency from the leadership/C-suite employees. Technical decisions are often sidelined to better appease clients and there have been several times in client meetings where sales team have decided on timelines without consulting the developers. Squads are pitted against each other and overtime and burnout are the cultural norm. A senior project manager has said in meetings that they want "less talky talky and more typey typey" from their developers as well as stating that "burnout isn't real if you believe in the company"
