For what it's worth, short-lived excitement on some interesting projects. Potential to make opportunistic gains: If you must join this organisation for your dire circumstances, you are in an excellent position to ask for double your market salary and steep contract pre-termination penalty (despite your situation). If you don't take my advice, you are ignoring the basic risk-reward rule.
Cons
For Cons, please refer to all the comments posted on glassdoor with ratings of 2 stars or less. At the request of the chairman, the poor guys (currently) at the top had to write fake positive reviews and click on the "helpful" button for each other's reviews to (a) improve the average ratings and (b) show the positive reviews up in the order - things you have to do to stay employed and do well (even if for a short duration) in this organisation!
