Unhappiness On Every Level

Pros

There are many genuinely talented people in this organization who want to put in the work. Depending on who your manager is, there can be decent flexibility in time off.

Cons

"Leadership Team" is stagnant and does not have fresh ideas. Holds contests within in company to come up with new ways of being profitable. Many long term employees have not had raises in years (not even cost of living increases) and won't ask because they already know the answer will be negative. No investment in people (market salary, training, etc) except for technicians. No investment in local marketing, advertising, or real strategic planning. Unhappiness is pervasive from the bottom to the top as recent layoffs and salary cuts have killed whatever morale existed before. Owners are not involved in daily operation any longer and it shows.

Pros

Great people at local levels who hold things together, especially during tough times.

Cons

Do not disregard the negative reviews others have posted as they're mostly accurate. Starts and ends with corporate management. Turnover is at least double the industry standard in EVERY position EXCEPT the top management positions. That alone should tell you everything about how dysfunctional this company is. Look elsewhere for employment. The culture is all take and very little give when you need it. You will be told your suggestions are not needed, or are welcome but then ignored. Safety of employees comes after profit and liability is placed back on employees. Guidelines and expectations are unclear allowing management to cherry-pick what is and is not acceptable performance and/or behavior. Large decisions seem to be made on whim then micromanaged. You will wonder how some of your teammates or even whole teams still have jobs when they consistently botch their tasks. You will hear and see wholly inappropriate and unprofessional language and attitude dismissed out of hand. Some longtime employees think there couldn't be a better place to be employed and I have no idea what they see in it. Other than that you could find worse places to work I'm sure.

Pros

Lot of nice folks, easy job, good clean safe work environment, excellent pay.

Cons

Management! That's 99% of the company problem. No outside experience. They feel constant turn over keeps them "Fresh" with each new hire bringing in a fresh new Rolodex of customers. Go through people like crazy. Sad....
