The turnover at Cloud for Good is the highest I have ever seen in any company in my entire career. My estimate would be that nearly 30 % of the staff (including many managers) have left over the past year. In fact, it has gotten so bad that employee departures are no longer announced to the company. It has become an accepted fact that every Monday, you will login and notice that 1-2 of your colleague are no longer signed on to the Zoom chat.
Things weren't always this bad, however. A couple years ago, there was a big internal push with the aim of promoting a positive and fun culture.
In recent months, with some new management on the Services side, this has now become a thing of the past.
Now, as a consultant, your only metric for success is to BILL hours. Management will deny this, but these are the facts on the ground.
Now, it is completely understandable in the world of consulting to have a big focus on utilization, however, this should also come with appreciating employees for the efforts they do "outside" of this.
For example, as a consultant, you are encouraged to help with marketing efforts. This can be a very fun learning experience, however, management does not take these extra efforts into account when doing quarterly reviews.
Worst of all the new management on the Services side is extremely rude and is not well received by the consultants at the company. Everyday consultants privately message each other sharing their experiences of being absolutely berated and disrespected by some of their managers. Additionally, they fear raising their concerns to the CEO or HR, because they fear they will lose their job.
If you are looking for some quick "in and out"experience in the SFDC nonprofit space, this the place for you. But, if you are looking for a company that has managers that respect their employees and treat them fairly, I highly encourage you to look elsewhere.
