Pros

***I'm only giving this review because it appears Sales leadership has gone in and made some reviews to drive up the score.*** The Clozd offering is good and is not the problem. When I first started, I loved the product and fully believed in the value. Going to work used to be fun, but the sales org is far from fun these days.

Cons

Attainment is low and so is the moral. I know and believe KPIs are an important metric to give guidance for reps, but their point and quadrant system is way misaligned with success. You have to get a minimum amount of activity points to stay there, but you need to overshoot the minimum to be labeled as "bought in". The reps get so tied up in satisfying and gaming this arbitrary number, that they lose sight on progressing deals and working toward the number that actually counts (Quota). You also can't give any sort of constructive criticism or you'll be labeled as negative and not "bought in", putting a target on your back. They have squandered some unreal talent because of this "fall in line" mentality.

Pros

Great product Company lunches Collaborative co-workers

Cons

I've noticed some recent reviews highlighting some deficiencies of a sales leader. I actually love this person as a friend. On the other hand, in light of recent events, I've lost a lot of respect for this individual as a leader. Were those reviews harsh? Yes. Were those reviews true? Yes. Ever since they have been posted this leader has been on a "witch hunt" trying to find out who posted them. In my opinion, this is very unprofessional, immature and unethical. The purpose of Glassdoor is to be able to voice pros/cons anonymously without the fear of repercussions (such as losing your job). Seeing this really turned me off and put a bad taste in my mouth. I know feedback like this can hurt, but this isn't how you should react to it. I wish this person would focus on how to improve our environment instead of wasting time/energy trying to find the culprit. My biggest "con" for Clozd is the point system. This leader has said many times they could get to the minimum number of points in 2 hours. I'd LOVE for this leader to take an average reps book and attempt this for a week. I'd be even more impressed if they could generate ANY business opportunities with this approach. It shows how out of touch with modern day prospecting this really is and makes me feel like they don't know what they are talking about and are leading us in the wrong direction. I feel like I have to hit my daily points to keep my job and sacrifice effective prospecting which is where I make money. It’s the wrong arrangement.

We appreciate the recent reviews, including this one, that point to improvements we can make in our sales organization. Perception is reality, and we clearly let some of our team members down. I'm bummed about it. We've identified opportunities to improve in multiple areas thanks to the candid feedback received here on Glassdoor. We sincerely mean this. If there is more to share, my door is open. -AP
