      THE GOOD, THE BAD AND THE UGLY

      Pros

      - Everyone is respectful and kind. - The office is beautiful. - Compensation is good but Dubai is quite expensive too, so don't get too excited.

      Cons

      - ZERO Job Security: they have a habit of firing people by giving them a SURPRISE when they arrive at the office in the morning. They fired a lot of people in the past by surprising them, although they were quite smart and hardworking. Seems like Twitter has been inspired by them :). So, it you want a stressful job from where you could be laid off any day, consider applying. - No one is truly happy or satisfied here. Everyone might look happy in the videos and pictures they have uploaded on LinkedIn and Instagram, but deep down, they are terrified. - If you have a family, please DON'T apply here. - If you are a graduate, be it analyst, trader or dev, and want to play with your life and career and experience the worst, you are welcome. - A lot of work and pressure on the analysts, traders and software developers. The work is very unbalanced and disorganised. Everything is a huge mess. Their tools keep breaking all the time ruining the experience for both the traders and the devs. No proper structure was followed while creating those projects which says a lot about the tech management. And the tech team also seems to be very stressed.

      Pros

      Will share honest opinion about the company .. I attended CTP in December. Good things: they take care of your travel and stay in Dubai and its very good. Small company .. startup culture,... u learn a lot .. people are friendly .. and try for team building

      Cons

      Don't depend on this for job ... you have no idea how much you will repent later on even if u may be highly interested in this job or company. Selection process is long and and has many rounds which can be easily clubbed and not necessary and questionable as well because in CTP on an average 1 in 5 people are selected .. This job includes shifts .. 2 weeks morning then 2 weeks evening .. then 2 weeks night and its 6 days job at a stretch .. 15k dirham pm in Dubai is not much as cost of living is also high there .. you would only be able to afford a studio apartment near metro as taxi and outside food is costly. Their CTP is the worst part ... as after qualifying around 10 rounds .. u get rejected there .. .there they don't share notes and randomly people come to take lectures which are not in sync which creates a lot of confusion and they just throw things at you in bits and pieces making it very difficult to comprehend and then they reject you for not keeping up .. they even dont allow everyone to complete CTP and reject midway .. basically its very intense and fast paced and is aimed more at challenging you than enabling you ... My advice is apply for it only if you have some other job and you can go there and explore for yourself and resign only after you get selected there .. but don't depend on it for job .. again saying you will regret the time you will invest in this long process.

For a fast paced industry like ours which changes in a fraction of seconds, it is usual to feel a lot of pressure and stress and so we make sure that we are hiring and keeping only the most effective people. We have refined our recruitment process and it doesn't take more than 4 weeks to complete all the interview stages and attend our CTP (Cobblestone Training Programme). The CTP which is the last part of our hiring gives you exposure to our business tools. We assess your practical skills and the ability to quickly pick up new concepts. We regret to know that you had a bad experience. We would like you to note that competition for jobs at Cobblestone is always strong and that we often must make difficult choices between many high-calibre candidates.       None. Zero. Stay away if you can.

      Cons

      Not a single "junior trader" hired ever since the position opened. But if you see LinkedIn there's still junior traders from Uganda etc. Their insane interview process isn't made for humans. They have openings all over the world yet only people from Uganda can make it? An absolute waste of time
