Pros

I met some great and talented people, but I cannot find anything positive.

Cons

As someone who occasionally works on pharma side and recently crossed back over to agency again, I found the conducts of Cogora and it's senior team concerning. I was let go with immediate effect for so-called performance reasons without any pre-warning or evidence to said 'poor' performance when requesting it. I strongly believe this happened because I raised concerns about the ethical and moral conducts of the agency. As a 'sometime-client' it is my responsibility to report any issues I experience and consider an ethical issue within this industry. In return it is my MD's responsibility to address these issues. She addressed them by removing me for 'performance' reasons. She waited until I delivered my final meeting to a client, who expressed his gratitude to my team in both person and writing. I find HR and the senior members to be self-regulating, inexperienced, dishonest and disrespectful, and one that will not tolerate opinions. And lastly, I agree with previous reviewers with regards to how legitimately real the 'good' comments are on here. They are in such stark contrast with what I experienced to be the truth about Cogora.

Pros

There is nothing good, that would compete with the bad.

Cons

Due to downsizing they just got rid of (perhaps ‘made redundant’) a long-standing, highly respected senior member who was loved by all and instead they kept the female managing director - we all know who she is. As an under-qualified, disrespected director with very little to show for, she has amassed a record number of staff dismissals almost on a weekly bases only to please her superiors. She is clearly kept around as a mouthpiece rather than accomplishments or merits. I always look for strong leaders and in that often for strong female leaders in our sector. Im ashamed to have ever crossed path with someone who willingly puts her teams’ heads on the chopping block - literally every Monday, bullies mercilessly then hides behind ‘authority’. I wonder how long will she be around as managements’ puppet, before she will be sent packing. Lets see then how her reputation will hold her up in an industry that’s already started to find out about her.

Pros

The hours are good depending in which department you work in The location isn't too bad, it's between Barbican and St. Pauls

Cons

- The management is awful - No communication whatsoever, you'll only find out about stuff that affects you right before it's going to happen - Staff aren't treated well, to them you are just a commodity and will get rid the second they want to. It'll be a straight termination of your contract - No team atmosphere in any of the departments, no departments inter mingle - No benefits apart from a day off on your birthday (wow) - Targets are never set (for non-sales staff) and then people complain that targets aren't being met - Very high turnover of staff, about 15% of the workforce have been at the company over 4 years which speaks volumes
