Pros

I received a paycheck, that's about it.

Cons

Backstabbing, terrible upper management. No growth opportunities, terrible pay, no training programs. Good clients with underwhelming work done for them. Favoritism exists - the owner's daughter runs the SF office.

Pros

This is a great company to work for if you want to be micro-managed, disrespected, looked down upon, treated like an intern and have all your suggestions for improvements ignored. I wish I could say there was a pro, it seemed like a fun company to work with during the interview process but on day 1 you could clearly tell it was all a ruse and they really do not care about any of your opinions.

Cons

No training, horrible company culture, micro managed by everyone that has "authority", no collaboration, bare minimum for clients, will lie to you when you tell them your salary requirements and then undercut you when they offer you a position. For a company that has been around for many years, you would think they would have some sort of formal training and standarization but they do not.

Pros

Some people at the company and are really great which helps because you'll all be trauma bonded for life.

Cons

Where do I begin? - The company is in financial turmoil and they have been laying off people monthly for the last year+. Instead of being transparent and doing a round of layoffs to reduce anxiety, they breadcrumb them so that everyone is constantly on edge and being threatened with losing their job. - Once they fire people, they don't replace them so the remaining team members who are already drowning in work have to pick up the pieces without any hope of a raise for doing so. - Management couldn't be worse. They are all entitled know-it-alls who think they are smarter than everyone else and constantly flex on random industry knowledge while ignoring your emails. They will rail you for a minor mistake and take full credit for your major wins. - HR is a nightmare. They have a little league t-ball coach who lurks in your work chats, claims to be a safe space and then turns around and reports everything you say to your manager. DO NOT trust HR. - Ever told your manager you're stressed out and have them respond with how stressed THEY are and how much they're working as a way of belitting your stress? Get used to it at C&P! - The only way to succeed in this company is to kiss the ring. You're more likely to be promoted for pretending to care about your manager's 45 minute story full of name-dropping winemakers and Italian vineyards than you are for doing good work.
