      Pros

      Columbia has family vibe with some employees being there for 30+ years. As an employee, you have control over your time and work, great management support, and good benefits. Upper management openly shares information and take suggestions seriously.

      Cons

      Not a ton of room for advancement due to the size of the company and newer computer systems and software could be implemented.

      Good insurance benefits Flexible-ish working hours (can come in and leave a little late or early, just get your 8 hours in)

      Cons

      No room to grow as a chemist Paid hourly for a job that should really be salaried Low pay Rarely allowed to meet with suppliers, keeping us in the dark Mgmt pulling us away from other projects for us to work on their pet projects, messing up the line Want a lot of growth but wont give us the tools to do so Wants cutting edge projects with outdated raw materials, mgmt doesnt like it when we requeat samples
