Pros

The only good about Comberry Studios during the period I was employed by them was the good work vibes. If you're looking for a relaxing and casual working atmosphere, it would be your place to go.

Cons

No proper management. There were directors, camera operators, producers, but no manager. The boss only flew over from Germany once in a month or two. While the office was based in Asia, the company culture was somehow racist to the non-European employees. The laidback and casual working atmosphere enabled discrimination and improper talks such as cursing, flirting and sex at the work place. While operating filmmaking around the globe, it occurred that fake contents were made in order to "complete the topic". Also, as far as I know, not many contents were authorised to be filmed. Nor did they received official permission by the authorities.

Pros

Extensive travel opportunities – I had the chance to visit 10 countries over two years. Truly unique experiences – filming in remote villages and connecting with extraordinary people from all walks of life. Flexible work arrangements – there's an office space available, but remote work is fully supported and encouraged. All filming-related travel expenses are covered, Reimbursement can take a while and you need to keep receipts, but during my trips all the money I spent was reimbursed.

Cons

Travel schedules can be unpredictable and there are often last-minute changes. Filming trips often involve working through weekends, which can be demanding over long periods.
