Pros
The work environment was very accommodating and valued open communication and feedback. Everyone was looking out for one another and wanting to help out to ensure the program ran smoothly and that the youth were being centered in all conversations. I learned a lot and felt supported in my growth and was given space to make decisions and act on my own ideas and intuition.
Cons
The program itself wasn't as organized and there was a lot of troubleshooting and debriefing daily. But it was the first year after the pilot program so was to be expected!
