      Gorgeous campus, staff dedicated to students

      Unhealthy leadership practices and work environment, Administration runs independent to staff, employee voices repeatedly ignored by leadership and the board, new leadership has abandoned all restorative student practices and focuses on punitive measures

      Students, families, staff were a pleasure to work with.

      Poor school culture, poor management, poor outcomes for students and families we serve, and the inability for self-reflection on behalf of the organization.

      Pros

      Amazing students, dedicated teachers, beautiful campus. Common Ground was an amazing place where leaders were fair, respectful. Mentoring was amazing from Liz Cox and there was an amazing sense of community. This ended with Liz’s retirement in 2020.

      Cons

      New administration that does not respect Common Ground’s history or the teaching staff. Poor communication from admin, constant last minute changes, unreal work expectations, not enough rooms for classes, poor salary, nepotism, gaslighting and lies from Admin.
