Pros

Fincentric was part of SP Global, who to be honest just didn't know what to do with it. Communify purchased the Fincentric in 2024 and they are shaking up how things are done. If they get it right, they could unleash the hidden potential that SP could never find.

Cons

Communify has a "do less with more" strategy which translates as every department is understaffed. Post-acquisition everything has been very chaotic and communication from management has been minimal. They laid off a large number of people at the end of 2024 and in 2025 they cancelled pay rises and bonuses for those remaining. They've made it very clear that they're not very sentimental about keeping people and if you don't fit they don't want you working at the company.

Interesting challenges, diverse tech stack

* Insane amount of technical debt and no motivation to correct it * Chronically understaffed so 0 progress can be made to make things better * Recently purchased by private equity, who is gutting the company * Customer accounts are so tightly coupled that they can't disengage even if they wanted to * Management is afraid to push back on clients

Pros

Working remotely if your city doesn't have office

Cons

An investor company along with Communify took over Fincentric from S&P Global. Before this acquisition it was an OK company to work for, but since then everything has changed. - There have been 3-4 rounds of Lay offs since last year! Headcount is a company secret (!!!), but lots of people were let go (not necessarily performance related, like one day they laid off all of the scrum masters and most of Quality Engineers along with some Software Engineer and managers!) - Capacity is very limited, so people need to work much more now which impacts quality and work life balance. - Job security is very close to Zero, regardless of your loyalty or working experience or even your level in the company. - I am pretty sure if it wasn't for the current situation in the job market lots of people would leave the company.
