Excellent time off. Co-workers are fantastic. Job is rewarding. Opportunities for professional growth and development. High level of autonomy. Supervisors are supportive.

Cons

Below average pay according to industry averages. Use of medical time off pretty much requires a near death experience and even that won't fly without proof from a doctor.

A variety of services that you can be involved in within 5 counties.

Cons

- From executive level on down, it's about the numbers and keeping people in services with inaccurate diagnosis so they can be provided medications instead of helpful therapeutic experiences. - Management has been promoted because they have been "successful" at checking off boxes instead of actual clinical expertise. This has led to a toxic culture and micromanagement. - The majority of counselors are languishing instead of thriving, but afraid to discuss this with management because there's a long history of holding grudges and then firing people afterwards. - If you're looking to thrive, go elsewhere.
