Thank you for taking the time out to share your experience as a BHT. We really appreciate the work being done with the kiddos we serve.
Pros: As a Behavioral Health Technician at Community Counseling Center (CCC), you’ve noticed several positive aspects. First, CCC compensates well for roles that require minimal prior experience, especially in the Behavioral Health Technician positions. Additionally, the job provides immense satisfaction as you support children during challenging times. The casual dress code fosters a comfortable work environment, and your active participation in group activities makes some days feel more like fulfilling moments than work.
Cons: While CCC has its strengths, there are areas for improvement. The compensation structure could better recognize educational experience, even if it falls short of a degree; however we do provide salary increases when an individual obtains their degree while working for us. The training process, though comprehensive, might benefit from streamlining to focus on job-relevant information; unfortunately, there is not too much wiggle room with this, as we have to follow state guidelines for training. The multifaceted nature of “all other duties assigned” can be overwhelming, including responsibilities like cooking, cleaning, and laundry. Enhancing cohesiveness among co-workers and improving transparency in leadership decision-making are essential goals. Lastly, we apologize if responses to absences have lacked empathy; your well-being matters to us, and we’ll address this moving forward.
We appreciate your insights, and your feedback helps us create a better experience for our team members and the children we serve. If you have further thoughts or suggestions, feel free to reach out.
Thank you,
CCC Recruitment Team
