Pros

Get to wear jeans on Fridays and lots of OT during open enrollment. Work in Downtown Knoxville which is nice

Cons

Micromanagement at its finest. Policies seem to change on a continuous basis. Very rarely praised for a job well done but super quick to belittle you for even a small mistake. Health insurance is terrible which says a lot working for the actual insurance company.....

Pros

Great pay. Traditional working hours

Cons

CHA WOULD BE A GOOD PLACE TO WORK FOR IF THINGS GOT DONE IN A TIMELY MANNER. Number one problem with this company is poor management. Every call center has guidelines and certain criteria they would like for you to meet, but this company loves to micromanage the employees when things aren't even in order for the customers. every company is going to have people that call in and complain, BUT every call you take should not be complaints. People are either upset about not receiving their bills on time or they are PISSED because they pay their premiums then try to go get rx's filled and then are told they dont have insurance. They will tell you to tell the customer that the issue will be fixed and they wont have this problem again. LIES people have to call in every month to have the same issue fixed. If you need help from the Supervisors good luck with that. I have never worked for a company where the management has meetings all day and are unavailable to either take a escalation or assist you. Basically their are 2 supervisors but you will only be able to "get assistance" from one. The other supervisor and the Manager are always in the manager's office having meetings. This company has had their customers or previous customer's waiting for refunds for close to a year. They will tell you that they are about helping the customer and they arent. Customers with serious health issues doesnt cause a big concern to them because they literally take their in getting the issues resolved. When you start to go home everyday feeling sorry for the people who have elected their plans you will begin to hate tthe fact that you took the job. The manager will have excuses to explain why some people arent their anymore but once you start working you will see. You can ask any of the other people (once you get to know them) how they feel about the company and they will tell you they arent happy. I would rather work a job paying 10/hr and love it than to take their 13.50 /hr and hate the company and the bull they fed us when we first started. With all the complaints that have been filed I wouldnt be surprised if they arent shut down soon. They dont have money to pay their claims (another complaint you constantly get). Good luck if you choose to work for the company.
