Pros

Enjoy working with people in my department. Extremely busy, which helps time fly by.

Cons

CEO and upper-managment believe the physicians walk on water. They give new providers 30k sign-on bonuses but have not given their employees raises in over three years. Let me just remind you that it's the little people here that make your clinics run, the providers just see the patients for a few minutes and write them a perscriptions. The MA's, LPN's, Nurses do the real work. The billers, receptions, clinic managers etc... keep the office running smoothly. There is also very little room for growth. Someone either has to leave their position or you have to move to a new department.

Pros

One thing I will say for them is their benefits are amazing. Solid retirement plan, medical, dental, vision, and lots of paid time off.

Cons

Lots of beaurocracy and the upper management seems very oblivious to the struggles the hourly workers face. It really seems like they have their heads in the clouds, and their idealism sometimes overshadows the reality of the situation. It's good to be a dreamer, but this more often than not is very frustrating for the little guy who spends each day knee deep in reality.
