Just when you think you have a few hours to produce some code... nope, your manager has scheduled a one hour one-on-one session with you, to tell you the same thing as on the previous meet. Dont forget knowledge sharing session where a junior dev will be presenting how he fixed a few typos in javascript for one hour because that is what he needs to do to finish a goal set in leapsome. You will enjoy monthly reviews of others where you will need to review others because managers have no clue what the devs actually work on. Ah yes, 2 employees got laid off, prepare for a two hours long all hands meeting with HR to discus the stress, uncertainty and the state of the turbulent market... Better not be a lead position, because you guessed it... more calls. TL sync, cross-train sync, knowledge sharing meet. Management wants you to post tech blogs, yes more syncs...
