Pros

The hours are 8-4:30 if you are in the office.

Cons

The company is technically "HNS" management, a title assigned to the company from the DOT. While the money comes from the CTDOT, the upper management all works for First Transit who is more concerned with keeping their contract with the State than improving the bus system. The culture is not innovative and not trying to be. The bus drivers are VERY hard working people, but the same cannot be said for people in the office—some are, some aren't.

Pros

There are really no pros to working here besides the pay rate

Cons

supervisors get away with everything. No benefits for part time staff. Always lying about promotions. No discipline for illegal conduct
