Pros

You get to work on all phases of design and construction administration. You will gain a lot of experience and knowledge in a very short time.

Cons

Long work hours, lack of staff so you get stretched thinly over multiple projects. Designs start to look the same. Lack of work life balance. People are just used and worn down.

Pros

Really creative projects, firm culture encourages exploration and freedom in design. Office culture is informal so you can be in charge of your own work and time. This can be a con for those who want more structure, but for self directed people its great!

Cons

Firm is busy and you have to be able to juggle multiple projects and manage your time.

Cons

When involved in multiple projects, it can get a little hectic around the office.
