Pros

They have a 401k match and sometimes will send you a box of fruit if they’re feeling generous.

Cons

There’s a lot of them…. Mainly, the CEO is an egotistical, misogynistic narcissist that has taken every good thing about Conversica and pulverized it. The new execs in the leadership team, with the exception of the CTO, are “yes people” that will put the well-being of their teams at risk so as not to fall out of favor with this asshat. The culture is TERRIBLE, and it doesn’t help that they had to layoff 18-33% of their workforce TWICE. Those that survived the axe are looking for a new job and Conversica is bleeding talent. Everyone understands peaks and valleys in attrition, but this has been a constant revolving door for years, with the best people quickly wising up and leaving. You will not get recognized for anything you do above and beyond your normal job responsibilities and expect for people to tell you how to do your job rather than let you think for yourself. All this is with exception to the CTO and his teams, as he is the only collaborative leader and normal human there.

Pros

- Cool coworkers - Strong benefits package - AI is the future

Cons

Where do I begin? The sales org has been undergoing tremendous amounts of turnover since the beginning of 2021 due to people leaving or being fired due to performance. At some point you have to take a look in the mirror and recognize that you're firing people because the product market fit in certain market segments might not be what you think it is, not because you hired a bunch of bad sales people. This is reflective in the very low sales numbers across the board. There is very little diversity on the sales team, it is about 95% men. Very little inbound demand so be prepared to do a lot of outbound prospecting even as an AE, which you will be micromanaged about. It's too bad thing turned out the way they did, but this sales org needs to look at itself in the mirror. They've been saying "We have momentum in a hot space" for a while and it's yet to be seen.
