Do not be fooled by the wholesome, progressive branding. My experience was a case study in systematic retaliation. After receiving a glowing 90-day review where I was praised for my "stability, leadership, and innovation", I had a medical crisis and requested to use my earned PTO.
Leadership's response was immediately hostile. While I was on documented medical leave, my manager sent a punitive email classifying my absence as a "no-call, no-show".
The retaliation was so explicit that she was recorded admitting the reason for my removal to my team, stating it was due to "some ADA stuff" and because I was about to "bring in a legal group" . This wasn't a misunderstanding; it was a direct admission of illegal retaliation, which she then followed by stating she would be "keeping a close eye on" employees I was friends with.
After being constructively discharged and locked out of all systems, I was formally terminated just seven hours after notifying the company of my formal EEOC charge.
