In 2023 the market conditions changed and slowly and stealthily the commission structure was changed but targets remained high and an emphasis on the quality of property recruitment was introduced with a requirement to walk away from business if properties don't meet the as yet undefined actual standards, yet the targets remain high and unrealistic. Any sales person who is on a poor basic and who relies on commission will never walk away from a contract when targets are high. Communication from management (especially senior) is very poor and extremely inconsistent leaving those in the field not knowing what's actually what half the time. It's become a bit of a circus in all honesty! Morale is at an all time low and people are either leaving or being 'invited' to leave on a more regular basis! There's a real 'you're as good as your last month' culture and lower management are nothing but messengers with little to no autonomy. When employed we were expected to loosely aim at self generating about 20% of all leads. In little over 2 years this has gone up to an expected 40% with very little leads being generated from head office now so earnings have been eroded.
