Pros

My colleagues were lovely and I wish I didn't have to leave them.

Cons

- I was here for less than two years and in that time, I had five bosses. Five. Good talent leaves, including me. - Every team is chronically understaffed. It bottlenecks your work because other teams don't have the capacity to do basic things. -There is no senior leadership. Employees are expected to lead all equity and diversity initiatives, on top of their regular jobs, with no extra resources and not so much as a thanks. - I can't speak to the front line area, but in the area I worked, the director didn't care about our health and wellness. I was dealing with some health issues and had to get some procedures but they would've been cancelled if I got covid. I couldn't get even a basic accommodation and when I went to HR about it, they said I'd have to tell them the nature of my illness/procedures. - IT is awful. The remote desktop solution is old and clunky. It refuses to do anything to help you out if it means they have to do work too. - As another reviewer said, all they care about is money and looking good. They don't care about making the actual changes necessary to improve public perception, they just want to keep donations coming in.

No respect from senior management

Pros

Some staff are great to work with. The organisation certainly looks good on a resume.

Cons

There is little to no care for the mental health of staff. It's all about money. "Money first" is a common phrase in the Dev/Comm group. It's a very toxic environment. There are no career advancement opportunities and no training, so the position you're in is the position (and salary) you'll have forever.
