Learning opportunities overshadowed by poor pay and culture
Pros
Learning opportunities exist if you can tolerate the work culture. Some colleagues are genuinely helpful.
Cons
Salary is paid late and short almost every month, with no clear explanation given despite repeated follow-ups. PF is deducted from your salary but in my experience there was no PF number issued and no proof of deposit with EPFO, which is a serious legal compliance issue every employee should verify themselves. Management favors a specific group of employees regardless of competency, while genuinely skilled and hardworking employees are targeted and made to feel unwelcome. The work environment can be openly hostile, including being publicly questioned and blamed in group chats for things outside your control, such as meeting invites sent after the meeting start time. Resignation and exit process is extremely stressful. Despite resigning formally and completing knowledge transfer as requested, the Full and Final Settlement was delayed repeatedly with shifting excuses and new conditions added each time a deadline passed. Be prepared to follow up extensively and keep all your communication documented in writing.
