Micromanaging, stressful, rules and perks only apply to a few. Make a mistake and you will be targeted, keep your resume updated you will probably need it.
Upper Management is a problem. The fact most employees haven’t been there more than 3 years should have been a clue. My “growing” department had all employees hired then let go or quit in less than a year. A WHOLE DEPARTMENT! Companies go through rough patches and downsize I get it but was left questioning my abilities thinking I was the problem when they could have been honest that the department was no longer needed.
