Pros

This publication does have their fingers on the pulse of the city. Some of the best writers work their which makes it a joy. The Marketing Director really knows his stuff and has added a breath of fresh air to the paper.

Cons

Ideas aren't fully listened to which causes the paper to constantly be behind the curve. The current Publisher creates a toxic work environment and is very passive aggressive and belittling at times. You also are severely underpaid compared to other publications.

Pros

Great place to work with creative and interesting people. Product is easy to sell and solid core of advertisers to work with.

Cons

Compensation plans constantly change and publishers change quickly as well. Owners too for that matter. Sometimes the environment can be extremely unprofessional which can be fun sometimes and others not.
