      Pros

      “free” snacks but none in shop

      Cons

      Unsafe shop practices, cheap materials, abuse of worker’s health, rights and benefits, uncaring of their worker’s safety and schedules, insane hours of required OT and immoral practices, like having workers doing work at their private residence, and renting them out to other contractors. And they call themselves CHRISTIANS...

      Pros

      Allows employees to grow within the company, collaborative team that creates beautiful products, owners are nice and easy to get along with, a good company to begin your career because you get a lot of exposure to the entire design to build process.

      Cons

      High turn over in employees (atleast 10 employees came and went within a 1.5years span), well below average compensation with minimal raises, no regularly employee check ins, zero bonuses, work horse environment with lots of (compensated) overtime, office work environment (warehouse) a bit brutal for a company that designs and builds beautiful work environments.

      Underpaid, overworked and unrealistic expectations

      Pros

      Snacks, mom and pop business type feel, occasional beautiful products, dynamic and talented co-workers, location

      Cons

      Lack of planning, lack of vision, lack of management, no training and development, low pay, long hours, high expectations, quick turn around, low quality materials, "cheaper the better" mentality, mediocre benefits, unsafe work environment

      I'm genuinely sorry that this seems to have been your experience. We take pride in our phenomenal team and clients who pursue creative endeavors. Our responsibility to the community, staff, and clients is not a light one and to summarize this care as 'cheaper is better,' is an oversimplification and simply not true. All that said, it may be helpful to know that as owners we had hoped to take a successful maternity/paternity leave during the 6 weeks prior to this comment with the birth of our son.
