Pros

Compensation Benefits package Wonderful colleagues Fast-paced entrepreneurial setting Learning and growth opportunities

Cons

Executive politics constantly impedes progress Favoritism dictates promotions not talent/skill Business initiatives are not well vetted, planned or executed The basics are no where near mastered Management is disorganized and does not clearly communicate People are more afraid for the stability of their own jobs than the progress of the company People who do not contribute regularly seem to be earning the most Poor project management across the entire business Absolutely no accountability

Pros

Solar industry is a good place to make real money if you work in a fair corporate environment that trains, manages and supports your growth.

Cons

The company does not train, manage or support in a way that allows staff to grow. I was hired after one brief "interview" conversation into an administrative role. and the person meeting me called me by the wrong name when they said goodbye. The interview was a joke but I needed the job. From the first day there was obvious infighting between administrativem human resources and others and it reminded me more of bipartisan politics than it did of a working team. There are staff who are clinging on by a thread and survive by blaming others. If there was less time finger pointing and more time constructively working together, great stuff could happen. Leadership is so disconnected and only cares about the results, that they are either not aware of the infighting or simple let people fight it out to see who survives.
