Pros

Plenty of positions for people in many areas of expertise. Huge corporation only getting larger every day.

Cons

Huge corporations that are only getting bigger is also a con...their eyes, and money, seem to only be focused on expansion. Unfortunately that means less focus on what they already have going. First of all...it's a factory...so expect LOW pay, regardless of knowledge/skills/experience. And EVERY employee is DISPENSABLE...Welcome new grads and unexperienced "professionals" who don't know any better (****just remember that AS A PATIENT who is receiving their medical "care" their...Crystal Run thinks good care is always treating patients with a smile on our face...even if us as a "healthcare team" don't know what we are doing...but PLEASE give us a good patient satisfaction score!!! =D ) Crystal Run does not seem to care about the employees they already have, and how far they stretch their responsibilities and work load. When signing on, they definitely talk a big talk about how much they care about fixing ANY and ALL little bugs in the system, and that they openly welcome any issues to be brought to their attention so that they can be fixed ASAP. But after you work their for a while, you realize this is definitely NOT the case. Staffing seems tight EVERYWHERE, including management! There are a very limited amount of resources to reach out to, and in some instances there are NONE. And when you do get to reach out, they give you 2 minutes of their time, dismiss any concerns or issues YOU and/or your co-workers feel are relevant. Then they quickly tell you what they want you to do in addition to your impossible work load, and how you need to change the way you perform...but of course without using any overtime or giving you more staff. They initially pitch you with this image of an ideal place to work, so friendly, caring, open to work with you, give you as much time as you need to learn your position, and if you don't like your position they will "work with you to find a place that you thrive in." But once they have you where THEY want you (oh yeah, just because you THOUGHT you accepted one position...they won't think twice about moving you somewhere else, without even asking you,) you better not dare open your mouth...just smile and stomach up working your fanny off in a stressful environment where none of your co-workers have even a second to help you because they themselves have way too much to do. If enough "important people" aka MDs, complain about something and often enough, management MAY actually say they are going to fix it...but don't hold your breath cuz it ain't happening any time soon! And definitely don't ever be sick or take any time off! They don't have any extra staff to cover you. Your co-workers will be told to "pick up the extra slack" but unless it's something very urgent...guess what? It's not getting touched until you come back. And then you are greeted upon return with all of your co-workers and management mad at you for being out. And if you still want to work there after reading this, you better learn to be extremely resourceful in order to learn how to do your job, either that or learn how to cut corners, even if it means compromising delivery of care/and/or your license, like most have learned to do, because they give you very little training with EVERY thing you may be expected to do...and for some things... NO training. It's a "suck it up and figure it out for yourself" kind of work place that has no forgiveness.

Pros

High preforming, high drive healthcare organization. CRHC is way ahead of most organizations. Everyone gives 150% to accomplish the mission vision and goals of this organization. Imagine every Type A personality you have ever worked with and they are there.

Cons

You are not valued as an employee and work life balance is non- exsistant. From the MD's to the front line staff. You leave exhausted and unable to enjoy your time away. If you are given a mobile device be ready to answer nights, weekends, holidays. Raises are yearly at 2-3% no incentive to over acheive unless you are an MD.

Pros

There are no pros at all that i can give you. This was the worst over talked about place to work. You become a slave.

Cons

If i could give zero stars i would. This was the worst place i ever worked for. And i was a bankruptcy paralegal. No advancements. You’re not noticed for your hard work to the company. You spend the whole day locked in a building. Getting yelled at by patients, nurses, MDs. You never talk to anyone in the building in person, only over the phone or email. Crystal run is not a healthcare center. It is a corporation. Out for money to get larger faster than it can keep up, they won’t care if you have a medical condition they expect you to be in that seat your full shift. Other than your 30 min lunch. With no other breakers. There are way better jobs out there. Benefits aren’t that great either for being a healthcare “company”... “Take me to Vassar”
