Cube does things differently; we're no ordinary startup. Here are the pros: - We move fast w/ intentionality; it's not a throw everything at the wall and see what sticks like a lot of startups I've been a part of. They bring in top-tier talent and trust them to do what they're hired to do. No rein holding here. - Female leadership heavy: feminist or not, it speaks volumes that a financial planning and analysis company is heavy in female leadership. It's not only rare in most companies, but it's also an actual rarity in fintech. You can feel the difference in the energy and how things are done. - The CEO, Christina, is truly inspiring. She's out to create "the most well-run company in the world" where "companies want to poach our talent, but they love us too much to leave". Yeah, she wants to change things for businesses, but she also wants to lead the way in how a business is run, top to bottom, and you can tell. - Collaboration and ownership heavy: clear owners are steering the ship, but everybody gets on board to row. Whether they're in your department or not. - Work ownership: you own your lane, you advocate for what fits and what doesn't, and the best part - leadership listens. They trust you know what success looks like and are the first to say they aren't sure. No BSing here.
Cons
Like any fast-growing SaaS company, things break - product and processes. The good news? Pain points are listened to and prioritized accordingly. There is no 401k matching; we're early stage, but every bit helps in this economy. Like any startup, change happens fast; Cube gives you every opportunity to stay up to date - but at the end of the day, it's your job to know what's happening. New roles are always being hired, so your workload and responsibilities can pivot quickly. Alignment is available, but if you're protective of your plate, this isn't the job for you.
