Pros

If you're a high performer (I consider myself to be a high performer, so . . . ) then this is a wonderful place to work. This might be controversial depending on your worldview, but mediocre employees don't last here. They told me upfront before I even accepted a position that if I don't reach certain milestons (I think they called it a development plan) then we part ways. Meaning Cybersafe will let me go. Kind of scary, but also kinda great knowing where I stood. And since I like to think of myself as a hard/smart worker, I like that people around me are, also. It's not a great feeling busting your butt while the guy next to you who's been here for 2+ years just skates through the day. fyi, I have seen them let others go (I think they were let go since they were suddenly no longer working at the company), and tbh I wondered about them since they were not very good workers in my opinion. One was clearly struggling even though they started before me. The other I didn't really know how good or bad he was at the actual job, but he was just a jerk and never had anything good to say - he sucked the good energy out of the room. Bottom line is they put a lot of time into training me (I didn't have much expereince in cyber when I started) and they expected a lot in return. Case in point, salary increases dramatically in the first year as you prove yourself as an analyst. My impression of the culture is they care what most of us thinks and they really want us to succeed. However, if you're not a top performer they have limited patience.

Cons

See above. If you just want to show up and get a paycheck, this is a very bad place to work. If you want to learn and you have no problem working hard, then you'll mostly love this place. Also, career advancement is a little abstract. They're a fairly young and growing company so there are new spots opening up all the time, but I just don't think there's a ton of structure in place.

Pros

Working at cybersafe was a game changing career move. I came from a background of technology with minimal security knowledge, The training in mentorship that they provided me was really what gave me early success. Compensation is also very competitive compared to industry rates. Extremely fast paced environment. I would still be working there if I wasn’t given my dream opportunity in a different field.

Cons

Fast pace environments often mens busy day to day, which I which I believe holds true in every security operation center.
