I am baffled that after 3 interviews where integrity and character were so stressed, that the company possesses none of these traits. Never telling you you train for free (they skim through paperwork having you initial and move on...thankfully I took pics! Because you don't get a copy of what you've signed) there's a $200 *bonus* if you're on time everyday and don't call out for the first 12 days.....AND you sell 5 triple play bundles....if you qualify the *bonus* is your pay. Never once in 3 interviews was I told them physical demands of walking (more like almost running door to door) for 7+hrs. You would think that would be a main question since that IS the entire job. But nope. That was hidden. You would think a company with such high regard for integrity would be up front and honest about each aspect rather than hiding things and honestly tricking you but nope. That's wasn't the case. I was called by Cygnus Concepts, I didn't reach out to them. I asked every question I had because it just didn't make sense, the whole company and situation. I am sad to say I was duped and fooled. It was never mentioned toe that I would use my own vehicle (I was never even asked if I had transportation) and they don't include gas money (you can bonus a $50 gas card if you sell 10 triple plays in a pay period! Woo hoo) let alone think about the wear and tear of your car driving back and forth sometimes multiple times in one day from your territory to the office. I got a vague answer on how jar the territories span but ours was 30mins from the office.
Bottom line: don't believe the hype. Don't believe the positive reviews that you see on here that are obviously planted by Cygnus concepts (3 on the same day! And 2 with the same wording!) I chose to leave after I realized how much I was lied to and how much they talked themselves up and contradicted themselves.
This job is for you however if: you like door to door selling 7+ hours a day 6 days a week for $500 a week OR commission. You are ok with putting miles and wear & tear on your car. Spending your own $ on gas to try and make money. If you like playing games literally in a pant suit like Balderdash, and clapping games, and "ships & sailors", etc. which have you running around and being physical with other do-workers....for what? I believe it's to see how far you're willing to go, how much of a "monkey" they can make you.because it surely doesn't teach me how to run and manage my own company.
I was told what I would learn is how to train and interview new employees. I was actually told that the first few interviews I would conduct would be on candidates they have already decided not to hire. Just so that I can get some practice in and just use them as tools to better myself......who does that?! Wasting some innocent persons time.and leading them on, for me to get training? You've got to be kidding me. I was appalled.
Great integrity and character right there. ::claps::
