Pros

Other co-workers in the same boat as you.

Cons

The management posts fake 5 star reviews on Glassdoor so they seem like a fun business to work for but this is 1 of the worst jobs Ive had. They're terrible about giving breaks and the perks they mention don't exist for warehouse Associates.

Pros

All the external-facing glamor and fun until you realized that all the money they put into these "perks" can be used to pay employees fairly instead of undercutting them.

Cons

Cunning leadership and toxic work culture. Very high turnaround. Very unethical way of handling internal conflicts (e.g., firing people for no good reason). Very unfair pay, and when you negotiate for a pay increase after a period, they will do everything in their power to put you down to prevent it. All the other good reviews shown are the leadership making employees leave reviews to win awards. I had to do that during my time there. Worst company I've worked for. And many more cons without going into too much detail.

Pros

Amazing co-workers and beautiful office. Fun parties and events to distract from terrible pay and rigid work schedule.

Cons

Cymbiotika looks incredible from the outside: beautiful branding, a polished office, and a vibe that promises a fun, vibrant culture. Once you’re inside, it feels like a bait-and-switch. Day to day, leadership doesn’t match the image they sell. The environment came off as ego-driven and unhealthy, with little real support from the people at the top. Pay was a major red flag. Roles were well below San Diego market rates, and I was told that they prefer hiring younger so they can pay less. It’s common to juggle multiple hats without the compensation or guidance to match. The CEO and Managing Director set the tone, and it’s not a positive one. Leadership was always clashing with each other which made it impossible to get anything finished. The COO was largely absent from operations, which left teams scrambling and burned out. If you’re considering an offer, go in eyes wide open. You might get the brand name and a pretty office, but it comes with low pay, shaky leadership, and a culture that doesn’t live the values it markets. I left feeling more exploited than developed, and I wouldn’t go back.
