Senior leadership do not value employees, their skills or their talents. Decisions are very top heavy. Poor maternity, bereavement and other policies.
There is a toxic culture and bullying is rife but nobody on leadership cares.
- brilliant colleagues
- salary above the sector
- varied work, work from home or go to an office; at your own discretion
- trusted by management to do your job
Cons
- sometimes little to no planning for away days with the team, meaning if you have children or commitments you don’t have the time to get things sorted
- a salesy approach to programmes which isn’t the right language for those we support
- programme launches treated as a higher priority than outcomes
Working with like-minded individuals and organisations to provide meaningful opportunities.
Cons
I haven't worked there for a while now but came across the reviews and was disheartened to see things still don't appear to have changed. You only need to look at the staff turnover to identify that there are issues. Always felt there was more concern about growing and having the most sites rather than looking at the need and supporting areas who needed sites that would be appropriate and sustainable. We others have mentioned any kind of well-being is tokenism and no genuine attempts made to achieve a better work / life balance
