Pros

Teaches you what a bad job/workplace really is

Cons

An extremely dated company ran by a vile family who use office staff as their own personal assistants. Absolutely no brand awareness or strategy behind anything apart from the owners’ personal taste or whatever takes their fancy at the time. Working here will give you no development or challenge whatsoever apart from summoning the will to be around such awful people every day. They are completely stuck in their ways, unwilling to change due to greed for more money and spend most of the company time on personal projects such as building new houses. Majority of the office staff have been there several years and have very odd attitudes and personalities. They’re cliquey and make little effort to chat to new staff members. Senior staff members enjoy patronising and not sharing their ‘knowledge’. The male owner is extremely intimidating and would rarely acknowledge the existence of staff apart from a select few. He makes sexist comments about female staff members and their clothing. The owners had no regard for covid rules during lockdown and regularly brought their entire family to the offices. They expected others to wear masks but wouldn’t wear them themselves. They aren’t willing to move with the times regarding working from home, as they’d be unable to watch staff on the cameras they have installed in every office. Factory staff are treated terribly, as shown in previous reviews. It’s common knowledge that the owner asks for lists of staff that’s been there for less than two years so they can fire them without having to give a reason or any notice. The staff turnover and constant job advertisements speak for themselves. Listen to the bad reviews and ignore the good ones - they would send emails to staff asking for good reviews to balance out the bad. Existing good ones are fake and written mainly by the woman claiming to be the hr department to improve recruitment.

Pros

Free on site car parking

Cons

Poor salary. I was working for £8.50 while less experienced and less qualified colleagues were brought in on £11.50. Very little to no career progression. If your face doesn't fit, they will sack you. They have been known to sack people for being homosexual. You can be sacked immediately for discussing wages. It is in your contract that you cannot join a union. 2 years + they are known for moving staff around until they choose to leave. They expect you to work every weekend, and late hours, no exceptions. The product is shocking, and excellent customer service is almost impossible due to poor management from the rest of the company.
