      High pressure, high workload, average wages at best

      The company tries to make mental health an important factor, with regular reviews with your line manager and an open policy for feedback (genuinely open - nothing bad happens if you feedback negatives) Hybrid working - 2 days are allowed to be worked from home The company offers a good training package - 1 day off before your exam and all tuition fully paid for (if you're under an apprenticeship)

      Cons

      The salaries paid at DJH Mitten Clarke Limited are average at best, at no point have management offered me a salary that is above average for the area and job that I do. A lot is expected from you at these wages, I often question why I'm working so hard to complete accounts to a high standard and with such a quick turnaround - this is a company in which employee burnout will inevitably happen if you do everything that is asked from management. Going above and beyond in your job is not recognised here, salaries are offered inline with the market, regardless of how hard you work. Employees start and leave all of the time here - don't expect to get to know your colleagues at a basic level as you will be given a seating plan in which you sit in the same place every time you're in the office, with little chance to interact with the rest of the team The company claims it offers flexi time - but it's not truly flexible. You must work 1 hours' worth of overtime for you to be able to claim the time back, and you must claim the time back in that same week - otherwise the time is wiped off and you have worked for free. To me this isn't flexi time - and the 'benefit' is essentially non-existent.

      Big 4 stress for half the wages!

      Lovely team Flexi study support

      Cons

      Toxic management and leadership team. Efforts to do overtime and take pride in your work are spat back with hoops to jump through. Absolutely no appreciation for going over and beyond. Uncompetitive and unfair wages often times giving newer team members higher wages than harder working existing employees. High stress. Few employees were asked to do a review biasing the scores

      High pressure average pay

      The team / other employees in the office make it a lovely place to work

      Cons

      High pressure to get tasks completed within a time frame with minimal to complete. Clients are unaware of the pressures faced which creates a higher demand for workload to be complete on time as to not let them know there is issues within the business. They have been allowed by higher ups to expect more than we can provide and as a result staff get ridiculed for mistakes that are actually not their fault. The pay is average at best. 0 progression. What is expected of staff cannot be done within the hours of the work week.
