I have been working at DNEG full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Work conditions are good, salary decent. Comfortable place to end your career without making any waves.

    Cons

No company vision, R&D is an afterthought. "Good enough for Marvel" seems to be the extent of our ambition. Typical British "can't do" attitude. Owned by Prime Focus (whose prime focus seems to be cost reduction), check out how they are doing on the BSE.

    Advice to Management

Hire competent people instead of bureaucrats. Layers of process and administrative forms are no substitute for actually knowing what you are doing.
