Pros

Its an exciting, fast paced place to work. There are many talented and passionate people here. The variety of work you get exposed to is unlike anything I've experienced at other agencies. Because everything is done in-house, you get to be involved in large scale live event productions, film projects, work with the design team on campaigns and digital projects. You really get the full picture. There's a genuine sense that people are invested in and there are real opportunities to grow if you put the work in. The site at Hartlebury is impressive too, it's a fun place to come into work and you get to see some really creative stuff happening around you every day.

Cons

It can be full-on. The workload can be heavy at times and when multiple projects are running simultaneously the juggling act is real. Deadlines are tight and clients can be demanding (but i don't thinks that's just an issue at this agency that's the industry we are in), so if you're not naturally organised it can feel a lot. Some processes could be slicker internally, but its acknowledged and the business is always open to feedback on ways to make things work smoother.

Pros

DRPG put on great events and have a great team who know their stuff in the industry. Great people and close-knit teams CEO that GENUINELY cares about the team, unlike others I’ve known A decent amount of flexibility around working hours (when its appropriate) Having worked at DRP now for more than 5 years, time has flown and its been a much nicer place to work than some of the other companies I have worked at.

Cons

We could be better with comms across teams. With so many different departments in one organisation, which would normally be outsourced in many other agencies, it can be tricky at times. With any agency, working hours can be long on the run up to events or deadlines but we do get time back.

Pros

Interesting projects and some really skilled team members.

Cons

Let down by poor leadership and strategy. Constantly reactive to issues. Never learns from issues, they are constantly repeated. Salary is not competitive.

Thanks for taking the time to share your feedback, and for the five years that you spent with us. You’ve raised some important points, and we recognise that parts of your experience didn't feel as clear or positive as you would have liked. On leadership and strategy, we do have a defined direction as part of a wider three year growth plan, and we aim to communicate priorities regularly at both group and team level. However, we also recognise that this doesn’t always translate into day-to-day clarity for everyone and it’s something we want to better understand and improve. Regarding salary and commercial focus, being commercially sustainable is important to ensure we can continue to invest in our people, technology and the business overall. Over the past two years, we’ve made significant investment in these areas. That said, we know that what matters most is how this is felt at an individual level. If pay or progression hasn’t felt competitive or clear to you, that’s important feedback and something we take seriously. We do benchmark our salaries and benefits against the market, but we recognise that individual experiences can vary. Ensuring that development, recognition and reward feel fair and transparent is something we are continually working on. Above all, DRPG is built on its people, and we want everyone in our team to feel part of that. We really encourage all team members to share more through our feedback channels. Listening and improving is always our priority. Thank you again for sharing.
