Pros

The pay, benefits, and time off are pretty good on paper. It's a fully remote organization with a lot of flexibility to work where, and (mostly) when, you want. The staff are all very nice and there aren't any overt jerks you need to deal with daily.

Cons

The organization has been in an identity crisis since its founder left in 2020, and the current leadership is just not capable of taking it in any direction. It's not at all clear what the point of this organization is or why it needs to exist in 2024, when there are dozens of other orgs and startups doing the same thing much more efficiently. They are in a constant state of funding crisis and their mission is whatever the funder they are currently speaking to wants it to be. Decisions are made haphazardly, staff are randomly fired for no reason to cover up budget issues or for pushing leadership for clarity. It seems the only point to their continued existence is to provide salaries for the CEO and program VP, everything else is expendable and subject to change for no apparent reason.
