Pros

Multisport, work from home, informal work enviroment, company events.

Cons

Unstable company that had major layoffs as soon as i joined... Very poor communicatio between departments, especially the support team and HR. It really is a shame because I came to Daytrip after being promised many things and was very much disappointed and made a fool of.

Pros

Close to city center with access from Metro.

Cons

They lack honesty. They hire with a prmise of advancement that is not possible. It is seasonal work, even though listed as full time. The turnover is appalling. They hire people to get through the bust times and then lay off when it the season is over. The hours are ridiculous. Hard to take a breaks and not be reprimanded if choosing to use the full allotted time. Shifts are 7 am to 3 pm 3pm to 11pm 11pm to 7 am Employees have very limited say in what the shifts will be. Requested time off may lead to being fired. Do not apply if you have a family, a life, or want to have either. THIS IS NOT A STARTUP!!!! DO NOT APPLY!!!

Hi there! We’re sorry to hear about your frustration working at Daytrip and while we do aim to cultivate a strong culture within our entire company, the Customer Care team is especially important to our organization. The Customer Care and Driver Support team’s schedule is made based on the days off the team members request, and we do our best to meet their preferences in shifts (students wanting more nightshifts, parents needing fixed schedules, etc). We know work-life balance is integral to a happy team and have had no issues granting the large majority of days off requests without any request for date changes over the last five years and will continue with this mentality indefinitely. These Support Specialist roles at Daytrip are full-time positions and that can be vetted by the fact that out of the 21 full time positions held in October 2022, 18 of those people are still with the company today which makes for a total turnover of only 10% (two of these departures were for employee led decisions to pursue other career paths). For suitable candidates we also offer growth within the company in other departments such as IT, Content and Senior roles within the Support teams. While the support team does work in an extremely fast-paced environment, we continuously remind team members to take breaks when needed because we know the team is dedicated to their cause and sometimes forget to take care of themselves. We want everyone working in these roles to feel they’re in the right place and we absolutely appreciate that they are dedicated to their team - we would never reprimand someone for taking a break. We understand your time in this role was not enjoyed and we do sincerely wish you the best in your future opportunities. We’ll be using this feedback to improve our hiring process as well as training initiatives to make sure people embarking in these roles at Daytrip continue having positive experiences.
