Long sales cycle. If you've ever tried to sell to Higher Ed, you already know what I'm going to say. Sometimes it feels like the industry moves at a snail's pace. That's just how it is. While it can be frustrating, it's got its silver linings. For example, my clients aren't cogs in the revenue machine here, which personally, I value. I've had the opportunity to develop fantastic relationships with clients because the deal cycle is so long and we communicate so often. It's a great way to meet great people and expand your network, which is worth its weight in gold.
It's also a young company, so bear that in mind. Growing pains are common, but I enjoy working through those. If you want a big corporate space with big corporate amenities, don't apply. If you like a challenge and enjoy working on building something, this just might be the place for you.
