Pros

Death in service benefit, Chocolates at Easter, voucher at Christmas, It's a job,

Cons

Poor pay, over worked, under staffed, no progression, no professional or personal development, almost no training, very poor management decisions, zero respect for the service desk staff who are treated as the lowest of the low. Bullying from a certain SLT member is common. Actively work lower bonus payments to service desk and lower paid staff. Management claim to listen to staff but people that do are marked as trouble maker. Some staff told not to apply for other jobs internally as their faces don't fit. work life balance does not apply to the service desk. holidays across the service desk cancelled/blocked due failing SLAs when staff are not being replaced. Flexi time almost impossible for the team to claim. Overall culture of fear and negativity. Massive problems with simple solutions are ignored.

Pros

Delt was originally an amazing place to work, pioneering, fun and relaxed. It still has some great people there in the teams and some very good technology for gaining professional experience. Working for NHS and council is rewarding.

Cons

Influx of managers who are simply bullies and a ceo/HR team that turn a blind eye or enable those behaviours has gradually broken the trust between leaders and staff. A lot of the best people left for that reason and unfortunately the worst management behaviours have not led to similar changes at the top. Some incredibly poor management decisions in the last few years have put the company at risk and alienated staff and customers. Unbelievable.

Pros

Flexible and remote working. I work with a great team

Cons

Underpaid, understaffed, overworked, impossible to get the bonus from the yearly performance review even when achievements are recognised as expectations are set too high making it impossible to meet the requirements, undervalued, unappreciated, lots of wellbeing support but basically performative as they want you to think they actually care whilst advice from mental health first aiders is actively harmful, insists that delt is a family 🚩🚩🚩, will place staff on temp contracts and leave you hanging until the very last minute. Two stars due to working from home and immediate team otherwise would have been 1.
