My Truth about Mike's Mobile

Pros

I worked for mikes mobile for almost 2 years and they made some really big steps in the right direction. They're paying their techs more, started a PTO policy and put a lot more effort into training the technicians. It's a growing company and I think they've transitioned into a normal company now. The place is a much better company to work for than when I started and I think those improvements will keep coming.

No health benefits, long days in the east Bay

Pros

Working at Mike's Mobile is definitely fast-paced-- but I've always had a sense of accomplishment here. If you work hard and try your best, there is plenty of praise and room for advancement. Management is always there to help and encourage you to do your best. Day-to-day duties are fast-moving so there's always something to do-- our busy season from November to January is *really* busy though. The pros -- you're surrounded by talented and highly motivated people -- it's really quite inspiring. There are a lot of cool company events both during and outside of work. You get paid well and there's a solid benefits package.

Cons

The cons -- the company is expanding very quickly and is feeling some growing pains. The various departments are in the process of getting revamped, so it can feel like the most focus is on one department or another at times.
