Pros
I have been with Designer Appliances for almost three years. I absolutely love our company and the history behind it. Notice that I mentioned "our" company ... this is because at Designer Appliances, you are really treated and valued as an individual instead of just an asset. We have friends and family events where our families socialize with our coworkers and managers to the point of knowing each other's children and spouses by names!
Designer Appliances is a small company (YES this is a PRO) The great thing about working for a smaller company vs. a corporation is that your actions matter. If you put extra effort into getting your work done, it will not go unnoticed.
The support I have personally received from my manager, coworkers and owners have helped me improve my skills as a sales representative as well as an individual. I have been exposed to product training trips, industry events, and even seminars to help improve my performance as a sales professional. There are few companies that will invest time and money into helping you prosper in order to help the company succeed. Most will determine how much you do for them before they consider your needs.
Cons
You must work one day out of the weekend - then again, every sales job requires this.
