Pros

Great coworkers and students. $500 wellness fund.

Cons

They are not “crew”. It’s all fluff, a facade. They brag about their renovation and yet have had ongoing gas leaks, mice and sewage issues. It is a classic toxic work environment. See: high staff turn over rate. Admin are bullies, who gaslight, belittle, and ignore your concerns. As another employee wrote “Toxic positivity from administration leaves you feeling unheard.” 100% Disorganized and no follow through or accountability with students and families, leading to ongoing issues. The amount of work teachers are expected to do is beyond what you are paid, especially since the school is so understaffed. Communication is terrible and no one is honest or transparent. They pride themselves on their habits of character but they lack compassion, curiosity and creativity, integrity, responsibility, and perseverance. To even have this school be k-8 is ridiculous, it is way too small. No library. No computer lab. No gymnasium. No performing arts/theatre.

Pros

Amazing coworkers, working with great kids.

Cons

Toxic work environment with a high staff turn over rate due directly to relationships with managers. Toxic positivity from administration leaves you feeling unheard. Disorganized student management that leads to discipline and follow through slipping through the cracks causing continual behavioral issues from students that are never fully handled. Oversized workloads that grow throughout the year to compensate for understaffing.
