Interesting large scale projects, small chance to travel.
Cons
Toxic office environment, HR is 100% out to get you, the company favours certain people even if they are HORRIFIC and have had numerous complaints. Sexual harassment is commonplace.
Underpaid and extremely overworked- some people coast and others have to cover x3 people's jobs.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are sorry to hear that your experience at Digby Wells Environmental did not reflect the workplace we strive to provide.
We take allegations of sexual harassment and any form of workplace misconduct extremely seriously. Creating a respectful, inclusive and safe working environment is a priority for us and any concerns of this nature are addressed through established processes to ensure they are properly reviewed and investigated.
Our HR team is committed to supporting employees and promoting fair and respectful workplace practices. We encourage anyone who experiences or witnesses' behaviour that does not align with our values to report it through the appropriate channels so it can be addressed.
If you are hired for a specific role you'll be expected to take on work (with no extra pay to match) that should be done by completely different roles so the company doesn't have to spend money hiring more people.
Staff retention is so low! It's like a revolving door with large groups new people starting each month to replace the ones that have left. Employees that have been there for longer either resign or spend all their time complaining about how much they hate it there and how burnt out they are.
The work culture is toxic and so clearly puts profit over everything else. Seminars are held to give the impression that the company cares about employee health and work life balance but when push comes to shove employees are just expected to meet any unrealistic goals from clients that project managers just agree to with no communication except "we said yes so get it done".

We appreciate your positive comment regarding the opportunity to work across Africa. At the same time, we take concerns around workload, role expectations and employee wellbeing seriously. We strive to create a supportive environment where employees are fairly supported in their roles and have access to development and training opportunities.
Feedback from current and former employees is valuable in helping us continue to improve the experience of our teams.
You will get a lot of work and learn a lot of things from the job this is because the company doesn’t have a lot of senior positions because people keep resigning.
Cons
1. The environment is toxic because the management favours certain people even though they non perform.
2. They are always recruiting new people every week because the staff retention is very low.
3. Recently the company does not get much new projects and as such they don’t have a lot of work. Seems like they keep advertising new posts even though they don’t fill in those positions.
4. They have fragmented positions that don’t make any sense, so that they can low pay people at the bottom so the salary is low compared to industry standard.
