Pros

• The team individually are very talented, and would flourish in scenarios or situations that cater to their strengths. They’re genuinely good at what they do. • There’s scope for Cadastra (newly merged with DE) to take the company to great places, especially with opportunities opening in Brazil (potentially).

Cons

• The process this agency takes on is outdated, with many tasks taking “the long way around” as well as minimal space for this process to be improved. • Staff retention is poor, and for good reason. • Office is boring. This is not a “red flag” per se, but still important to those who care. • Obvious business-based downfalls. The clientele DE takes on could easily be seen as money-grabbing if you were to view their portfolio of current clients. There are often ‘upsells’ of services that simply cannot be delivered, alongside prior agreed services which are not realistic (due to timeline, overworking or other reasons). • Job security is not guaranteed, with other reviews prior being testament to this. In my time at DE, I saw near to 10 staff members leaving. This is a huge number. Something to think about. • There are obvious tactics at play at DE that don’t allow for personal growth, salary-based discussions are ignored and the actual future of DE looks like the CEO merged with Cadastra because funds were not coming in. This is the case. Because of this, the work culture and prioritisation of team members currently at DE is poor.

Additionally, our performance in 2022, the year of the merger with Cadastra, was one of our strongest ever. Contrary to what you may read on this platform from other disgruntled ex employees, my own experiene was very different. Having recently concluded a fulfilling three-year tenure at Digital Ethos, I've accumulated a wealth of experiences and insights to share. The company stands out for its innovative and dynamic work environment. Embracing new technologies and strategies regularly, it has always kept the work exciting and engaging. The team at Digital Ethos is its greatest asset - supportive, talented colleagues and a management team that's genuinely invested in the professional growth and well-being of their employees. The emphasis on work-life balance is commendable, with flexible working hours and remote work options greatly aiding in juggling personal and professional responsibilities effectively. The diversity in clients, team and projects has been a consistent source of professional growth, providing a rich learning experience and the opportunity to tackle exciting challenges.

Cons

The fast-paced nature of the work, while stimulating, can occasionally be overwhelming. As the company grows, there are certain internal processes and communication channels that need to be refind and polished.

The office has a toilet.

Working for this agency is self abuse. Disorganised from top to bottom with clients all on the verge of quitting like staff. Toxic environment all hidden behind plastic shout outs which are riddled with favouritism. The office is soulless and falling to pieces, it’s definition of a dump. If everyone could work somewhere else, they would immediately. The hate that boils within everyone is clearly expressed through evreyones anxiety. Agency is run on fear. Nobody has an idea what they are meant to be doing or how to handle things because DigitalEthos is so badly managed. Do not think about working here. Job roles do not align with jobs that are advertised. People are abused behind close doors and bullied to the point you are traumatised and paralysed from doing your job. The rumours about this agency within the Midlands is well known. I should have listened to those on LinkedIn who shared their experiences within the groups. I can’t even share some of the stories on Glassdoor without being cancelled or deleted. Most people leave this agency in 6-12 months who have half a brain. Training is a way to keep you on the job, a way to stop you from leaving. Do not work here, it is one of the most hated fake agencies out there. You won’t regret my advice, stay away from this toxic environment.
