Pros

Met nice colleagues, nice location

Cons

Run down environment, no lunch break or minute to rest even during an 8hour shift. Not able to have lunch or if we do it’s behind the cashier area as we are still forced to work. No employee room for privacy to eat

Pros

You had some nice collegues

Cons

The owners treated employees unfairly, placing disproportionate pressure on individuals. There was manipulation of staff, for example by providing selective information and twisting facts to advance the owners’ agenda. Dominance techniques were used regularly—such as inducing guilt and shame—to compel compliance. Leadership operated opaquely, making decisions behind closed doors without transparency or opportunity for dialogue. Support and recognition were lacking: positive contributions were ignored, while criticism was delivered in a domineering fashion. Leads were allocated unfairly, creating inequitable opportunities and undermining team morale.
