Don't expect much

Pros

Good job if needed only temporarily, don't expect much in the long term. Easy Coworkers are nice

Cons

Don't get promoted, make more money as an interviewer typically, unless you become a supervisor. Can't support yourself with this job alone typically. Boring, not a whole lot you can do while making calls. Very outdated equipment that breaks down a lot. Do not value employees enough.

Pros

Small group of upper management that all work well together.

Cons

Very much stuck in their ways. Not willing to change because it's something they have always done.

Pros

You will always know what is expected of you. Lots to learn and skills that will be used in any job. Variable pay. Great supervision and management. If you are interested in research as relates to medical, political, media or marketing companies like Directions in Research and what they do are critical to any research or quality change and improvement process. Being able to conduct these surveys and see what it looks like at the information gathering end was so cool to me! And if nothing else the art of the cold call is a skill and art that is so hard to learn these days, but you will learn it here and it will serve you well!

Cons

Older computers and chairs. Long periods working which require some perseverance in attention span. Not the best compensation, but it is variable and it should not surprise anyone what the pay is. You know up front and it is pretty decent!
